Since many years ago, military stuff becomes a reflection of masculine and many person love military themes even though they are actually a civilian. Off course the icon of military is fire arms. After the World War II there is a rapid development of firearms technology. Many new firearms with advanced design and technology released and some of them are crowned with battle proven status.
It is true that there are many military firearms have its civilian version but off course not every one could have a license to have one of them. That is the reason many military enthusiast turn their attention to electronic airsoft guns. Yes, it is true; they are toys but surely a big boy’s toys. Airsoft gun are made as the replica of existing firearms without its firing mechanism. Instead of shooting munitions, airsoft guns shoot plastic balls with the electric firing mechanism.
Airsoft gun enthusiast loves the precision design of airsoft guns. You can find airsoft gun model for all firearms, from pistol, the latest assault gun both from NATO countries and East blocks, and even classic WWII fire arms. Airsoft enthusiasts always try to find airsoft models that have a precision design with the real forearms. There are many airsoft guns brands from the low prices Chinese brands to premium brands. Most premium brands would guarantee the highest precision for its airsoft gun models. Even some enthusiasts add accessories for real gun like RIS, scopes, bipods or many more. The goal is certain, to get more accurate gun.
However, the serious airsoft gun enthusiasts have moved from just precision model. They require that their airsoft gun must have excellent power, much better than the standard power. Airsoft gun power is determined by the velocity of plastic balls out of the shooting muzzle or usually known as Feet per Second (FPS) rate. Standard airsoft gun power is ranging from 200 to 300 fps. Airsoft gun enthusiasts believe that more power will give better performance in each battle games. Airsoft gun enthusiasts are willing to upgrade their gun to reach more than 400 fps even some claimed to reach more than 800 fps.
There are many factors when somebody wants to upgrade their airsoft gun. Some common upgrading items to replace the original parts are springs, gears and pistons. Most upgrading parts are made from more durable materials to endure better performance. Off course performance needs power, which is the reason for higher power battery should be installed. Fashion or performance, or even both, the choice is yours.
